Respect Academy’s Mission

We aim to empower recovering students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the work force of the 21st century.

At Respect, our staff may be small, but we are experienced and committed to your success from start to finish.

And because our classes are small, we leverage that number to create a supportive and family like atmosphere, and focus on you & your success as an individual.

About Respect

Respect was founded on one simple principal, Success Happens Here! We understand that some individuals learn differently and benefit from a smaller, more customized setting. We work tirelessly to meet students need on an individualized level, and empowering students to change their educational experience.

We are located in the lower level of Abraham Lincoln High School off of Evans and Hazel. Respect Academy serves students who are at least 17 years of age and have at least 140 credits. Being on a quarter system (classes start and are completed every 9 weeks), students are able to recover credits at a faster pace to earn their High School Diploma.

At Respect, we live by 6 Character Traits that we call our Raven’s Creed. These traits ensure that our students achieve success not just in school, but also in life. The Raven’s Creed traits are: Community, Courage, Grit, Integrity, Optimism, Responsibility. We welcome ALL students who are ready and willing to HEED THE CREED.

“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”

-Aristotle

Our belief has echoed throughout the district and with that, Respect Academy was established in 2013.

We understand that some individuals learn differently. Through much trial and error, our staff is more prepared than ever before to find the perfect solutions tailored to our student’s individual needs.

With your drive & dedication, and our commitment to your future & success, you have 100% of our support.
